The third meeting of the BioEra+ consortium took place in Beja, Portugal. From 23 to 25 May, the whole team reviewed the results of the activities so far and worked on the outcomes 4 and 5 outlines. These outcomes concerned the planned joint experimental course ‘Bioecononomy’ and the teaching materials to make it achievable.
Work on the syllabus for this course began at the same time. In between Design Thinking sessions, detailed action plans for the coming months were established. Thanks to the hospitality of the team from IPBeja, we also had the opportunity to integrate over great Portuguese food and visited some extraordinary farms: a dessert grape producer and an organic, sustainable farm producing wine, oil and carob.
