The Multiplier Event held at Mendel University in Brno on April 11, 2024, marked a significant milestone in the Bioera Project, aimed at bolstering bioeconomy knowledge and awareness among university staff and students. The event commenced with registration, followed by an insightful presentation on the Bioera Project, setting the stage for a day of exploration and collaboration.

Attendees were treated to engaging presentations on Project Results 1, focusing on the dissemination of bioeconomy knowledge within the university community. Discussions ensued, igniting a vibrant exchange of ideas and perspectives. A brief coffee break provided a valuable opportunity for networking and reflection, fostering connections among participants.

The morning session continued with presentations on Project Results 2 and 3, unveiling methodological manuals designed to further enhance bioeconomy education. These presentations sparked lively discussions, emphasizing the importance of practical tools in fostering sustainable practices.

Following this, participants immersed themselves in a dynamic teaching workshop on Circular Economy and ESG principles, delving into innovative approaches to sustainability. The interactive nature of the workshop facilitated hands-on learning and collaboration, empowering attendees to incorporate these principles into their academic and professional endeavors.

After a well-deserved lunch break, the afternoon session commenced with a presentation of Result 5: teaching materials for bioeconomy. Attendees had the privilege of hearing from a special guest speaker on “Bioeconomy in the Contemporary World,” providing valuable insights into the real-world applications of bioeconomic principles.

Another coffee break provided an opportunity for networking and exchanging ideas, reinforcing connections established throughout the day. The event culminated in a dedicated networking session, where participants forged new collaborations and partnerships to drive forward the bioeconomy agenda.

To add an element of excitement, a competition was held at the conclusion of the workshop. Teams showcased their understanding of bioeconomy concepts and their application in real-world scenarios. The winning team was rewarded with university-branded promotional merchandise, serving as a token of appreciation for their dedication and excellence.
