On 12 December, the Multiplayer Event of the Socially Driven Green Labs project took place – https://sdglabs.uom.edu.gr/. In Poland, the project is led by the University of the National Education Commission in Krakow.
The primary goal of the project is to contribute to combating climate change through education. The project’s mission is to create a special educational programme. It is aimed at university teachers working in fields related to social economics. The project will equip teachers with the skills, methodologies, and knowledge that influence the education of students in the area of green entrepreneurship.
This will have an impact on the creation and support of a new generation of green social entrepreneurs. The project’s implementation is based on a methodology which focuses on the human individual and includes elements of the LivingLabs concept and learning based on simulations.
The BioEra+ team participated in this event. The event showed that the objectives of the ongoing projects undertaken by the two teams coincided. As a result, both teams (from the Agricultural University in Kraków and the University of the National Education Commission in Krakow) decided to cooperate and share the results of their activities.
